48HD SxC6C-TSL

The 48HD SXC6C-TSL library is a bicyclic peptide library. Formed from the post translational cyclization of a linear SXCXXXXXXC (where X is a natural amino acid with the exception of cysteine) library with a proprietary two-fold symmetric linker. The library has a diversity of approximately 1 x 109 unique sequences. Click for more.

48HD SxC6C-DCA

The 48HD SXC6C-DCA library is a monocyclic peptide library. Formed from the post translational Click for more.

48HD X15

The 48HD X15 is a linear pentadecamer peptide library, where X is a natural amino acid, with the exception of cysteine. Click for more.

NEB® Phd7

The NEB® (New England BioLabs®) Ph.D.-7 library is a combinatorial library of random heptapeptides fused to a minor coat protein (pIII) of M13 phage. The displayed peptide is expressed at the N-terminus of pIII. The library consists of approximately 109 electroporated (i.e., unique) sequences. NEB® and New England Biolabs® are registered trademarks of New England Biolabs, Inc Click for more.

NEB® Phd12

The NEB® (New England BioLabs®) Ph.D.-12 library is a combinatorial library of random 12-mer peptides fused to a minor coat protein (pIII) of M13 phage. The displayed peptide is expressed at the N-terminus of pIII. The library consists of approximately 109 electroporated (i.e., unique) sequences. Confidentiality
Each of 48Hour Discovery and the Client may disclose information it considers confidential to the other to facilitate the Service. Each party will use all reasonable efforts to treat and keep confidential, and cause its officers, servants and employees to treat and keep confidential, any such information received by it from the other marked “Confidential” and in no event will such efforts be less than the degree of care and discretion the recipient exercises in protecting its own confidential information. Confidential information of the Client will include the Target. All confidential information will be disclosed within the recipient’s organization on a “need to know” basis. Except as otherwise permitted pursuant to Sections 4 or 5 of our Terms of Service, 48Hour Discovery will use all reasonable efforts to treat and to cause all officers, servants and employees of 48Hour Discovery to treat as strictly confidential all Service Results. The obligation to keep confidential will however not apply to information which:
  • (a) was in recipient’s possession before receipt from discloser;
  • (b) is or becomes a matter of public knowledge through no fault of recipient;
  • (d) is disclosed by discloser to a third party without a duty of confidentiality on the third party. Notwithstanding the provisions of this section, a recipient may disclose Confidential Information if such disclosure:
  • (e) is required by law including but not limited to applicable statute, regulation or other enactment or by lawful order of a court or administrative tribunal having jurisdiction provided recipient provides discloser with immediate notice of such requirement upon recipient’s receipt of notice of the same; or

FAQ

Can I receive the quote without filling out the form?

One of the team members of 48HD can fill the form with your name, email and general description of your target based on the prior discussion, generate a quote, and create a cloud login on your behalf.

What type of targets can be screened by 48HD?

Soluble proteins are the most commonly requested targets. The proteins need to contain one of the affinity handles (e.g. biotin or Fc-tag) for immobilization of affinity resin of microliter plates. We also screen for ligands that bind to cell-based targets (GPCR receptors displayed on the surface of cells). Complex biomolecules (liposomes, vesicles, glycans, ECM, membrane preparations) can be used as targets if they can be conveniently immobilized on affinity resin or micro-titer well plates or isolated by centrifugation.

What libraries can be screened by 48HD?

48HD screens genetically encoded, phage-displayed libraries of peptide macrocycles, bicycles and liner peptides. A full list is available here. Composition of libraries provided by 48HD is publically available on 48hd.cloud. Registered users can also download the entire composition of the library as a delimited file (>10 million entries)

What is the difference between commercial and non-commercial screen?

Non-commercial screens are lower cost than commercial but they come with some restrictions on the use of the results.

Non-Commercial Commercial
Cost $10,000 or higher $50,000 and higher
Target type Proteins Proteins, cells, complex biomolecues
Libraries Available bicyclic, cyclic and linear libraries All available libraries and custom libraries
Target exclusivity No Yes, see standard contract (Please contact us for more information)
Commercial use No Yes, with milestone payments (Please contact us for more information)
Affinity maturation Additional cost Included
Contract Standard (available upon submission of the form) Custom, in a 48HD template or Clients’ template
Contract adjustments Minor only Yes
Synthesis of leads Additional cost Can be included
Confidential delivery* Yes Yes
Licensing of Selected Hits** Yes Yes

*under the standard confidentiality terms, we do not disclose the names of the clients or their targets without prior approval of the Clients. The project and results are available to the client via a secure login at 48HD.cloud

** under the standard term: 48HD will, at Client’s request and expense, assign to Client all of 48Hour Discovery’s right, title and interest in the chemical structures described in the Selected Hits and any patents claiming such chemical structures, and will execute all instruments reasonably required by Client for the preparation, filing and prosecution of patent applications in any country or any division or continuation thereof or reissue of any patent issued on any such application.

I signed non-commercial contract but I need to use the results for commercial purposes?

Non-commercial contracts can be upgraded to the use for commercial purpose. The Client and 48HD enter into a new commercial contract and agree to the new terms. The Client reimburses 48HD the difference in cost between two contract types.

What payment methods do you accept?

The system generates a quote that can be paid by Purchase Order, credit card or wire transfer.
